Sunny Saterday

Hi there crafters
so the sun is out but for how long
that is the question
today I'm sharing two cards with you all
 first one from Brambly Hedge
from
i hope you managed to catch some of the shows
here is a card using the stamps coloured with Spectrum Noir
i love the papers from this CD really pretty
there is so much on this Cd i haven't touched the surface
i used my die to make some co-ordinating flowers and the Heartfelt Creation Ornate corner die on this card

the bonnet was made  using Spellbinder small scallop and plain circle the perfect size for an embellishment  i used Neenah card and coloured with Spectrum Noir

if you like to make a bonnet
 cut 2 x 1-1/2"scallop circles and 4 x1"plain circles
colour both sides of scalloped circles then glue together
colour  just 1 of the plain circles  glue all 4 together with coloured one on top
and attach to the brim
while still wet give the bonnet some shape
i just  formed it over my thumb leave to dry then decorate with bow and seed beads
i used the new Tacky Glue   from Crafters Companion it dries so fast ...

 my second card
  from
the soon to be released Country  Christmas Range
from Sheena Douglass
painted in water colours

i love this stamp   i used a backing paper from a Nit wit  paper set some Core-dination  and Centura pearl card  embossed mirri from my stash and craft buttons  and cut glass glitter
for the sparkle
i hope you all have a great weekend
what ever you have planned

got another Brambly Hedge to share

Hi There Crafters
me again  it's just started raining here so i have to put off the painting in the garden
great stuff lol not grumbling at all
so are you ready for another sneaky peep of the Fabulous
Brambly Hedge
coming soon from

using the stamp with this little fellow
Wilfred Toadflax
he is a mischievous little fellow
so i had to make an explosion box for his birthday
the box is made from 15"X15" Centura pearl Snow white card stock
i printed some backing paper from a previous Crafters Companion CD and embossed with the embossalicious patchwork quit folder then cut the fancy ornate corner Spell binders die as a lace over lay

here is a picture of the  lid with handmade flowers  using the Petite Petals die from Joanna Sheen
all colored with Spectrum Noir
pens then sprayed with a hefty  dose of spray and shine they really do look like porcelain
the lace was from the embellishment kit also from CC
the inside was decorated to the hilt lol
well why not it was his birthday after all
i didn't have any  colored Centura pearl card
so
out came the SN pens to color the frames  the matting layers flowers and images
i made the cake with white centura pearl card then decorated with pearls and ribbon
the little candle is a piece of flower soft wire  bent into a flame shape colored dipped  in glossy accents and micro beads then rolled very tightly onto a strip of paper

all the elements for this project were firmly glued down with  3D gel
and the fabulous new  Collall Tacky Glue
from
i love that stuff do check it out bonds in seconds perfect for flower making
i do hope you have enjoyed your visit today
 have a great day everyone
thank you for popping by

yes im still here been busy with these !!!
im sure your going to love them
It's
Brambly Hedge
from
launching  Friday the 14th of June over on Create and Craft as a POTW
there are a set of fabulous stamps a CD packed to the rafters with some beautiful things
 and
 Hunkydory Paper kit
what more can you ask for....
i had a ball....  i truly did... playing with the stamps
there is something from every season / every occasion
in fact i couldn't stop  making samples
so here is my  starter for ten
Mrs Eyebright off on her travels isn't she sweet
 colored with
Spectrum Noir then distressed around the edge
the papers are from previous launched  Crafters Companion cds

all the embellishments were cut using dies then colored with SN pens
all firmly glued into place with  crafters companion 3D gel  and all purpose glue
once dry sprinkled on some glass glitter for frosty effect  then with spray and shine for that extra sparkle

the black berries are Cotton bud/Q tips glued onto a Flower soft wire colored with pens coated with glossy accents  then dipped into micro beads the centers of the flowers are done in the same way the
i think they work don't you
little tip
if you want to have a go at the blackberries color tip on the stick then cut or pull off then attach to wire saves getting messy  less fiddly to lol
the wall hanging was cut using Grande Nestabilities then covered with backing paper
heart shaped gems are from embellishment kit also from crafters companion..
